Dreaded Wunder Development Update: Art, Animation, and More!

Hello, Dreaded Wunder fans!

First and foremost, we want to apologize for the delay in our blog updates. We know it's been a while since our last post, but a lot has been happening behind the scenes, and we’re excited to finally share the significant progress we’ve made on Dreaded Wunder!

Exciting Transformations and Innovations Unveiled

Since our last update, the game has undergone some truly transformative changes. Our team has been working hard on refining every aspect of the game, from art and animation to level design. Here’s a breakdown of what’s been happening:

New Art and Character Models

Dann has been tirelessly creating new art for the project, continuously pushing forward the design and atmosphere of Dreaded Wunder. One of his standout achievements has been developing the model for the Black Shuck, a central figure in the game. This creature is a key element in creating the eerie tone of the game, and we can’t wait for you to encounter it!

Norwich Market Level Reimagined

Daniel has reimagined our Norwich market level, transforming it into a space that’s full of tension and suspense. His work has redefined the atmosphere, making it a place where players will feel the lurking dangers of the Dreaded Wunder world, with subtle details that build a sense of foreboding at every turn.

Walking and Running Animations for the Black Shuck

Ryan has been hard at work on all kinds of animations for the game, with a major focus on the Black Shuck’s movements. The Shuck now has fully developed walking and running animations, bringing this terrifying creature to life in a whole new way. Its presence will now feel even more dynamic and menacing as it stalks the player through the game’s dark and mysterious environments.

New Assets for the World of Dreaded Wunder

Alice has been absolutely on fire, creating a wide range of new assets in various sizes and forms! From large-scale props to minute details, her work is critical in making the world of Dreaded Wunder rich with life (and fear). She has been collaborating closely with Daniel to seamlessly integrate these assets into the game, ensuring that the world feels immersive and alive at every corner.

Story-Driven Social Media Updates

Meanwhile, Ty has been focused on creating more story-driven content for our social media channels. His posts have been designed to give you deeper insights into the lore of Dreaded Wunder, building anticipation and keeping the community engaged with the unfolding mysteries of the game.

Showcasing at Protoplay

We’re also thrilled to share that the team recently headed up to Protoplay in Dundee to showcase the game! It was an incredible experience to present Dreaded Wunder to an enthusiastic crowd, and we are extremely grateful for the opportunity. The feedback we received has been invaluable, and we’ve returned with fresh ideas and motivation to continue refining the game. Thus ending our tranzfuser journey!

Looking Ahead

As always, we are committed to bringing you the best possible experience with Dreaded Wunder. The team is continuing to work hard on every aspect of the game, and we’ll be sure to keep you updated with future progress whenever applicable. Thank you for your patience and ongoing support—it truly means the world to us!

Stay tuned for more exciting updates, and as always, happy adventuring!
